C -- REPLACE/MODERNIZE ELEVATORS SOL 442-7-00 DUE 021500 POC Jane Jordan, 307-778-7329 A/E services are required to replace/modernize 5 elevators in building 1 at the VA Medical Center, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Work includes total replacement of two 4-stop traction elevators and upgrades to one 2-stop traction, one 2-stop hydraulic, and one 4-stop hydraulic elevator. Work will include initial assessment, preparation of drawings and specs, and construction period services. Area of consideration is limited to firms located within a 200 mile radius of Cheyenne, Wyoming and those firms desiring consideration should submit current SF254 and SF255 before close of business February 15, 2000. This project is setaside for small business -- small business criteria is annual average gross receipts for the last three fiscal years is less than $4 million. A/E selection criteria will include: (1) professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; (2) specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects; (3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; (4) geographical location of A/E firms; (5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; (6) cost control and estimating effectiveness; and (7) CAD capability.
