Greene, (202) 324-3319 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is Request for Quotation (RFQ) 900791. The solicitation document has incorporated provisions and clauses those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561621 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requests a firm-fixed price proposal for: Quantity of 80 Master Transceivers. The Master Transceiver is a phone line video transceiver which transmits or receives real-time video via standard dial-up analog telephone lines. The transceivers transmits real-time color or monochrome video from a remote camera location toa monitoring site via standard dial-up analog telephone lines. The System Specifications are: Inputs: 2 cameras, 1 volt p-p composite video, 75 ohm termination, NTSC (color). Output -- 1 volt p-p composite video, 75 ohm termination, NTSC. Resolution -- 352H x 288V and 704 x 576. Display Modes -- Selected camera and automatic video sequencing. Communications Interface: POTS, RJ-11, minimum 33.6 Kbps internal modem. Maximum size is 5" x 10" x 2". Electrical 12 VDC (supplied with 110 VAC adapter. Quantity of 2 Video/Alarm Expander. The video/alarm expander provides eight additional video inputs with associated alarm triggers. Inputs -- 8. Format -- 1 volt p-p composite video, NTSC (color). Termination -- 75 ohm. The expander must be compatible with the master transceiver.
