The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a 12 month sole source Simplified Acquisition to The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Washington, D.C. A plan shall be produced, along with technical assistance materials that can be used by all 50 States to further develop and evaluate the model for recruiting more ethnic minority medical students into child and adolescent psychiatry careers. A roster with resumes of medical students selected to join in a research trial to recruit ethnic minority students into a child and adolescent psychiatry career shall be submitted. A final report shall be prepared, that shall include assessments from all participating medical students and their recommendations for changes and improvements.
