17 -- TRANSPORTABILITY EQUIPMENT FOR CH-60S SOL PR# N68335-0004-0581 DUE 012100 POC Lyn Huffman (732)323-7789(ph) (732)323-4069(f) huffmanla@navair.navy.mil NAWC AD Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, CT, to procure one (1) CH-60S Air Transportability Analysis and one (1) Prototype set CH-60S Air Transportablity Set for the Naval derivative of the Blackhawk UH-60 Helicopter. These systems are required to maintain safe transport for the newly developed craft during testing and training. As the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CH-60S, Sikorsky Aircraft is the only known company capable of producing these systems. The Government does not own the data, drawings, or technical specifications necessary to produce these systems or to conduct full and open procurement.
