Modification to announcement of Solicitation DADA13-99-R-0007 posted in CBDNet 05/20/1999 to change the following dates and add information related to newly created Option Items. The revised Estimated due date for proposals is 02/22/2000. The contract period will be July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001 with four option years. The following items are added as option items for the base period and each option year. Option Item -- Cleaning of Fisher House consisting of approximately 5000 SF, receives full service seven days per week between 0930 and 1500 hours. The contractor shall provide guest room and patient unit terminal cleaning (PUTC) upon request. The response time for PUTC shall be 60 minutes after notification. The Government reserves the right to exercise this option item any time within the contract performance period with 30 days advance notification to the contractor. Option Item -Cleaning of Bassett Army Community Hospital located at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. Bassett Army Community Hospital currently has an occupancy rate of approximately 20 patient beds and consists of approximately 228,659 SF. The contractor will be provided 60 days advance notification of the Government's intent to exercise the option for adding this CLIN; however, performance would NOT begin until the current performance period of the existing contract expires. The performance period for the first option year of the existing contract expires 28 Sep 2000. Option Item -- Cleaning of Weed Army Community Hospital located at Fort Irwin in Barstow, California. Weed Army Community Hospital consists of approximately 58,615 SF, in addition, the contractor will be responsible for cleaning a veterinary clinic which consists of approximately 2,000 SF. The Contractor will be provided 60 days advance notification of the Governments intent to exercise the option to add this CLIN; however, performance would NOT begin until the current performance period of the existing contract expires. The current contract expires on 30 Sep2000. Offerors who do not wish to offer on Cleaning of Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska and/or Weed Army Community Hospital in Barstow, California may decline to offer on those two CLINs; however, in order for a proposal to be considered, all other CLINs shall be included as part of the proposal.
