Longbrake 605-226-7567 The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from certified Indian owned firms or firms eligible for certification under the Buy Indian Act to provide: (1) all service necessary to schedule, organize and facilitate Tribal consultation meetings. The meetings will be attended by IHS representatives, tribal representatives and other tribal organizations. The contractors responsibility shall include Travel arrangements, speaker arrangements, agenda preparation, hotel and motel reservations, and conference room arrangements. The meetings will be held at various locations within the Aberdeen Area. and (2) the successful contractor will also perform information dissemination and collection services as required by the Aberdeen Area IHS, Office of Tribal Activitiers. The duties will include copying, mailing, and collecting of data for the area office. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed-price Task Order type contract for one base year plus three option years. This solicitation is totally set-aside for "Buy Indian Firms" in accordance with the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47. RFP 00-06 will be published and available for distribution approximately 15 days from publication of this notice or January 22, 2000.
