Maintenance and Tree Trimming Services for Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The
contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, quality control,
safety prevention, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation
necessary to provide grounds maintenance and tree trimming services and
other incidental work. The contract is a combination firm
fixed-price/indefinite quantity contract. SIC Code 0782 applies. The
contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years.
The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed
60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in
time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance
for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend
Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the
options when exercised. This contract will replace three contracts for
similar services awarded in 1995 and 1997 for $564,015 (firm
fixed-price/indefinite quantity per year), $1,301,989 (firm
fixed-price/indefinite quantity per year), and $244,055.19 (firm
fixed-price/indefinite quantity per year), respectively. We will
include information about the current contracts and the incumbent
contractors (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address,
etc.) with the solicitation package. We do not require requests under
the Freedom of Information Act for this information. Offerors can view

available. The proposed contract is limited to qualifying 8(a) firms
in the Hawaii District Office of the Small Business Administration. The
Government will not consider offers from 8(a) firms outside of the
Hawaii District Office. Firms shall submit with their proposal a letter
from their SBA district office with a statement that the firm is in
full compliance with the requirements of the 8(a) program. The
solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require
offerors to submit PastPerformance/Experience information, and a price
proposal for evaluation by the Government. Proposal receipt date is
