The work to be performed is located at the Blue River Channel, Brush Creek to Stadium Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. The work to be performed consists of the construction of modifications to the Blue River Channel to alleviate flooding. The work includes, but is not limited to, approximately 1.7 million cubic yards of common excavation, hauling and disposal of excavated material both on-site and off-site, stabilization of bank slopes with approximately 150,000 tons of rockfill and riprap, approximately 1.3 miles of 4-lane paving, grading, modifications of drainage structures, and seeding and mulching.
