14 -- MISSILE SUBSYSTEMS TEST SET SUPPORT SOL N68936-00-T-0043 DUE 012000 POC Barbara J Contreras, Purchasing Agent, Fax (805)989-3673 The Naval Air Warfare Center -- Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, intends to procure on a competitive basis, maintenance services for the Harpoon Missile Subsystems Test Set (MSTS) for the country of Taiwan. The Harpoon MSTS operates on a Hewlett Packard 9500D Series (HP9500D-354) computer system. Taiwan has procured Harpoon Weapon Systems under the FMS Program, and the MSTS are located at Taiwan's weapon station. The FMS program has instituted a Long-Term Support (LTS) agreement between Taiwan and the United States Government. In furtherance of the LTS agreement, the Contractor will be required to support the HP9500D-354 equipment in the areas of technical and diagnostic documentation updates, technical consultation, depot repair, on site engineering and provision of an emergency spares pool. The contractor must be in possession of a fully functional HP9500D mock-up to accomplish this effort.
