The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE procurement with SAS INSTITUTE to renew support services to support the Bureau's Mainframe Computer system. SAS Institute services include real-time unlimited support services for the following software applications; BASE SAS, SAS/AF, SAS/FSP, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/ASIST, SAS/ACCESS TO DB2. Services include unlimited telephone support; ability to report problems and ask questions electronically via SAS Institute's web site; e-mail support services; and on-line designated local SAS support personnel. SAS Institute also provides a variety of self help resources; current software releases; free upgrades documentation; and all updates occurring during the license period; a one hour call back for severe problems with up to a maximum of 24 hours for low-priority problems; and notifies users when bugs are detected in the SAS software. Services are for a period of one year. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisitions procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5. Award will be based on meeting the requirements listed above, on an all or none basis. All interested parities must submit a technical proposal that demonstrates the capability to provide support services for the SAS Institute software to include cost, within 1 days after date of this publication. All quotes must include detailed literature on ability and resources to perform this service. Awardee must complete an SF-3381, ACH/Vendor miscellaneous payment enrollment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer.
