The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE procurement with Merant Support Net to renew Merant's Support Net Services to support the Bureau's mainframe computer system. Merant's Support Net services for PVCS tools include: in house training to ATF administrators and users; Support Net Answerline 24 hours a day, seven days a week via e-mail and telephone; Support Net online internet services including up to date technical research; add-on tools and utilities; on-line problem reporting and tracking system to submit issues directly to an Answerline representative; product updates; and product documentation downloads. Services will be for a period of one year. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisitions procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5. Award will be based on meeting the requirements listed above, on an all or none basis. All interested parities must submit a technical proposal that demonstrates the capability to provide premium maintenance support services for Merant's PVCS automated tools to include cost, within 1 day after the date of this publication. All quotes must include detailed literature on ability and resources to perform this service. Awardee must complete an SF-3381, ACH/Vendor miscellaneous payment enrollment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer.
