necessary to perform dockside repairs including but not limited to the
following Base Items: (1) Tank Cleaning and Inspection, (2) Install
Alarm Systems for Tender and Associated Barge, (3) Upgrade Ventilation
System, (4) Preserve Bulkhead and Overhead Surfaces in Various
Locations, (5) Temporary Logistics, (6) GFP Report. Optional Items
include but are not limited to the following: (1) Minor Tank Coating
System Repair, (2) Additional Temporary Logistics, (3) Composite Labor.
Place of performance is restricted to the vessel's homeport of E.
Chattanooga, TN. Vessel's availability schedule is 08 May 2000 for 28
calendar days. Vessel is a 65 Foot A-Class River Buoy Tender, with a
130 Foot Barge. All referenced documents are available for viewing at
300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. A charge of $150.00 is
required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable
to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Drawings are also
available,free of charge, on CD-ROM. For more information about CD-ROM
drawings, contact the Contracting Officials listed above. All
businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the
subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 27 January 2000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. ATTENTION:

The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program
(STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit
to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
