The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Programs, Center for Population, Health and Nutrition (PHN Center) seeks an organization to provide global leadership in management and leadership development to improve the performance of leaders and managers, and to improve the management systems of organizations and programs in family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) in developing countries. Improved performance of organizations, programs and individuals will result in better management and increased sustainability of FP/RH programs, leading to reduced fertility and maternal mortality. USAID anticipates the award of a five year $80,000,000.00 "Management and Leadership Development Cooperative Agreement" under its Management and Leadership Development Results Package. The program is expected to focus on building in-country capacity and regional capacity, and developing successful partnerships with Cooperating Agencies and local institutions. This award will be based on a full and open competition. The Request for Applications (RFA), when issued will provide the final information on the closing date. USAID intends to release the RFA on or about January 10, 2000.
