Bujnowski, Contract Specialist, 215-656-6761 Maintenance Dredging, New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway. The plant and equipment to be furnished under this contract includes the lease of a 12-14 inch hydraulic pipline dredge with operating personnel and attendant plant, tugboat with operating personnel, booster pump, d-4 dozer or equivalent, crawler mounted dragline with operator, barge, steel drainage pipe sluices and plastic sheeting. Dredging may also be required in waterways adjacent to the New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway. One copy of the plans and specifications will be furnished on CD-ROM to each bidder at no charge. Additional CD's will be furnished at a cost of $5.00 each. Bidders will be responsible for paper copies. Your firm's Federal Tax Identification Number must be written on the check, personal checks must be annotated with the individual's Social Security number. Payment will not be refunded and specifications need not be returned. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of the contract. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation. Issue date for solicitation documents will be on or about January 28, 2000 with a bid opening date of February 29, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. Completion time for this project is 180 calendar days. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to one bidder. Liquidated damages will be specified and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses.
