work includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials to
complete the following: replace asphaltic concrete paving; provide
additional parking spaces; provide asphalt paved connection to access
road; replace storm drainage pipe; provide concrete encasement of east
end boat basin bulkhead; replace existing tiger pass bulkhead with a
new steel sheetpile anchored bulkhead; modify existing HVAC system;
replace floor-mounted hot water cabinet heaters; replace emergency
diesel generator; provide underground power feed to day board storage
building; restore fuel farm electrical feed; paint exterior of station
building; demolish potable water storage tank and pumps; replace
backflow preventors and replace the existing hot water boiler and
modify the existing hot water boiler fuel system. The estimated price
range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bid guarantee,
payment and performance bonds are required. This solicitation is being
issued pursuant to the Small Business CompetitivenessDemonstration
Program and is open to both small and large businesses participation.
All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by

accepted; all requests shall be in writing. There is a $30.00 charge
for the plans and specifications. Checks are to be made payable to the
United States Coast Guard. Those who previously requested under the
