This synopsis provides notification of the Government's intent to negotiate an increase to the ceiling price for the time and materials (T&M) portion of contract DAAB07-96-C-C760 for technical and engineering services supporting the Near Term Digital Radio (NTDR) system. Sole source negotiation is proposed with ITT Industries, Aerospace/Communications Division (A/CD), Fort Wayne, IN pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a), Only One Responsible Source. This ceiling price increase shall accomodate the Government's future requirements for the NTDR including but not limited to engineering support, system integration support, training, testing, on-site technical support and design analysis. The Government does not possess the necessary technical data on the ITT design to allow for a competitive acquisition of the required engineering and technical support.
