B -- ANALYSIS OF 20 CORMORANT EGGS FOR PCB'S SOL 501810R003 DUE 012400 POC Christal Conway, (413) 253-8233 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to negotiate a contract for analytical services to be performed on 20 Cormorant eggs collected in NY. The 20 eggs will be quantified for PCB congener specific analysis and total PCB's in addition to 2, 3, 7, 8 -- substituted polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and furans. Negotiations will be held with Axys Analytical Services, Ltd., Sidney, BC, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. A Fixed Price contract is contemplated. No solicitation is available, however, interested firms may submit a written statement of their capabilities to analyze these eggs in accordance with FWS specifications within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
