Contract will be to upgrade the Advanced Stores Management System Simulator (ADSSIM). The period of performance for this contract is 30 months, base year consisting of 12 months and 1 option year for 18 months. This project consists of two phases: Phase 1 is to integrate upgrade capabilities to simulate off-board sensor and other mission data communications to and from the Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle(UCAV) platform executing a weapon delivery mission in a simulated flight and command and control (C2) environment via a Fighter Data Link/Link-16 compatible radio frequency data link. Phase 2 will integrate upgrade capabilities to simulate and monitor UCAV electrical interface signals. Interface functions to be supported include the UCAV interface to the small munitions dispenser. Potential munitions simulations include the Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Small Smart Bomb (SSB), or Low Cost Autonomous Attack System (LOCAAS). Interface functions include signal sequencing and multiplex data bus traffic generation for a complete smart munitions power up, initialization, and employment sequence.
