Description of requirements for the items to be acquired are as follows: All operations of the RSIC are performed on the in-house computer systems from ordering to cataloging to circulating of material. The system utilizes proprietary software developed and copyrighted by SIRSI Corporation and no other source can provide the capability to satisfy this requirement. STATEMENT OF WORK SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE 1.The Contractor shall maintain, keep fully operational, the existing Redstone Scientific Information Center's (RSIC) Scientific and Technical Information Library Automation System (STILAS) software, including interfaces with other databases/networks. 2.The services furnished must be the latest and insure compatibility with the existing RSIC/STILAS hardware/software systems, maintaining the functional capabilities now available, such as: STILAS Collection Management System and AIX Operating Systems. 3.Software upgrades/updates must be compatible with existing functional capabilities of the RSIC/STILAS System. 4.The Contractor shall provide on-site and/or user hotline telephone support of all maintained software within 2 business hours. 5.The Contractor shall provide updates versions of user manuals and publications for all software as updates/changes are implemented.
