The VA National Acquisition Center is currently seeking sources with the capability of providing a medical equipment maintenance management program (EMMP). The covered equipment shall include but not be limited to x-ray equipment, CT Scanners, MRI Scanners, PET Scanners, Ultrasound equipment, Surgical equipment, Nuclear Medicine, Respiratory Therapy and various other medical equipment located within a specific medical center/hospital. Responding sources should address their ability to provide these services on a national or regional basis and they shall address their specific area of geographic coverage. The EMMP shall include various components such as: management services, preventive maintenance, inventory assessment, repair analysis, invoice validation, payment processing, technical assistance, statistical repair information, program training, provisions for in-house repair programs, etc. This announcement constitutes a sources sought notice and market research. Information obtained as a result of this synopsis is for procurement planning purposes only.
