Bradford Contracting Officer (256) 313-4059 The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire, on other than full and open competitive basis, contractor engineering and technical services for the Fire Control Radar (FCR). Effort is to secure guidance/evaluation on the existing AVUM maintenance and repair policies to determine if the FCR maintenance policies are optimal for current support structures for the AH-64D Longbow Apache Fire Control Radar System. The Government intends to utilize a Firm Fixed Priced delivery order to contract DAAH23-99-G-0012. This is a sole source requirement to Longbow Limited Liability Company, 578 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando FL. Only LBLLC possesses the technical expertise and experience necessary to execute AVUM support for the FCR. Under the Authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties should identifythemselves in writing to the Contracting Officer.
