Y -- T-10 TEST CELL FACILITY, MARINE CORPS AIR STATION, BEAUFORT, SC The Navy is seeking interest in the following project utilizing Two-Phase, Design/Build Acquisition. The project involves the design build acquisition. The project involves the design and construction of a new "T-10 Test Cell Facility" at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC, which incorporates a new "square augmentor" technology. The Facility shall include pre-fabricated run room, primary and secondary air inlets, and exhaust augmentor, control room, facility instrumentation racks, fuel/preservation oil room, rest room, and test equipment storage room. The Facility features included, but not limited to, are acoustical panels and doors, fire protection, industrial waste system, power, lighting, engine hoist, instrumentation boom, engine air start, fuel, HVAC, proof load, and oil preservation systems, oil/water separator, retention access paving. Additional supporting facilities include replacement of existing of air compressor system and installation of 20,000-gallon fuel storage tank with fill station. The design will become the standard design for jet engine test cells for present and future Navy jet engines. Work requires engineering services, investigative studies, aerodynamic and acoustical modeling, preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates, and project construction. Also required are preparation of plans in Autocad Release 13 or higher, specifications using SPECSINTACT System, and cost estimates using a government provided Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) system format using the "Success" study-design packages, acoustical analysis, modeling studies, collateral equipment lists, project preliminary hazard analysis, obtaining permits and regulatory approvals, contractor submittal review, construction field inspection and consultation, Title II Inspection, Operation & Maintenance Support Information (OMSI), and as-built drawing preparation.
