PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: It is the intention of the National Institutes of Health to construct a NEW STEAM PLANT at the ROCKY MOUNTAIN LABORATORIES facility in HAMILTON, MONTANA. This requirement will include a new building with 3800 square feet of floor area plus mezzanine, underground utilities including direct buried high pressure steam pipe, 1500 hp boilers, 20,000 gallon fuel oil storage tank, boiler chemical feed system, generator, power and lighting wiring, automatic controls, boiler stack, de-aerator tank, condensate tank, pumps, air handling unit, concrete, masonry, premanufactured metal building structure, insulated metal siding panel, metal roof, insulation, fire protection sprinkler system, water, steam, condensate, gas, compressed air and oil piping and miscellaneous other work. Bidders must have installed at least one boiler system of no less than 1500 boiler horsepower within the last five years. The performance period shall be 270 calendar days. The magnitued of this fixed-price construction contract is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 inclusive of option(s). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1542.
