Blanket Purchase Order for drilling of ground-water wells a Dover Air Force Base. The wells are for long-term monitoring of the water quality of the ground water. The procurement will be for a contractor to drill wells to obtain geohydrologic information to better define flow paths and to provide aquifer samples, which will be used to support numerical simulations of water-quality. The requirement is for up to six 25 foot wells of 2 inch diameter, and for up to six 55 foot wells of 2 inch diameter. The period of performance will be from date of award through September 30, 2000. The vendor will be required to obtain permits from Dover Air Force Base. Maps and information regarding access to the base will be provided. Pricing will be by the foot. Labor rates will be paid in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act. There will be no public opening of quotes.
