This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-00-Q-46030 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 167 EA of Combustion Liner (NSN 2840-01-049-1153RW, P/N 6894068). Size/Dimensions: 24.5 x 6.5 x 5.5 inches; Form/Fit/Function Description: Liners are positioned axially by liner supports mounted on the outer combustion casing. The liners are radially positioned at the front by fuel nozzles secured to the compressor diffuser case and at the rear by the 1st stage vane assy secured in the turbine inlet case. Combustion liners are designed to control flame length and position within the liner and provide a rapid fuel-air mixing area. Predominant Material of Manufacture: steel. Materiel is to be delivered to FB2039, Mark for Acct 09, as follows: 67 EA 31 Oct 2000. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer.
