THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. USSS000009 is issued as a request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-14. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC code is 5065 and the size standard is 500 employees. The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for a quantity of 2 each, brand-name Raytheon Argus HSX IR Tube (NTSC/PAL, 110 VAC), Part number 3243650-1. This solicitation is a brand-name only procurement under authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1; no equipment substitutions are accepted. Shipment is FOB Destination (all freight included in the offered price) within 6 weeks after receipt of contract to the U.S. Secret Service Technical Security Division, 843 Brightseat Road (Rear), Landover, MD 20785.
