NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for four one-month options to extend the existing NAS 9-19357 contract for Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health services pending award of a new contract. Source selection is currently underway for this follow-on effort. NASA/JSC intends to purchase these services from Kelsy Seybold. The Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition due to urgent and compelling Government need (FAR 6.302-2)is being prepared. A competition for this effort is not in the Government's best interest as it would be cost prohibitive and disrupt the current recompetition for this same effort. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. See Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
