synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with
Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The
solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This
solicitation is not a set-aside to small business concerns. This will
be an all or none firm-fixed-price contract. The Government intends to
negotiate for items 0001 through 0005 (see items listed below) on a
sole source basis with Litton Systems INC., Electro-Optical Systems
Division, 1215 South 52nd Street, Tempe, AS 85281. The standard
industrialization classification code is 5065 and the business size
standard is 100 employees. Item 0001: M2120 thermal imager (BLACK &

and/or battery (throw-away, NiMH or Li-Ion). Shall be vehicle and/or
tripod mounted, remotely operated and is available with green and/or

perform inspection and acceptance of all items at destination
