The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a competitive basis an emergency power system. The system will be procured as a commercial item. The system will include the following: qty (2) diesel engine driven generators; qty (1) generator paralleling switchboard; qty (3) service entrance rated automatic transfer switches and qty (1) central above ground fuel tank. The contractor will also be required to provide drawings, manuals, product data, etc. The contractor shall perform the final testing and commissioning of the units provided. Detailed specifications will be provided in the solicitation document. It is intended to award a firm fixed price contract for the requirement. Delivery will be required 120 days after contract award. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation document. A written solicitation will be issued on or about 04 February 2000.
