This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Compugen, Inc. is the developer of the BioXL/P8 search engine, and is the only known source who can provide the product. This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference requisition numbers 192P0050094. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-15, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. A firm fixed priced commercial items purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, will be issued. A proposal shall be delivered to the Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK 1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Mr. Frank L.
