CBD notice number 413200 dated January 5, 2000 is modified to add the following detail on the unique characteristics of the Trilogic Systems Rackmount Drive Enclosures: 1.) Each SCSI chassis can support up to 12 hot-swappable, removable SCSI devices, 2.) The devices can be configured to support any combination of chains that the SCSI standard can support, i.e. three devices on one chain, two devices on another chain, and the remaining seven devices on separate chains the same day. 3.) The disk drives must be Seagate 18 GB disks in order to be swappable and backward compatible with other disks currently in use, 4.) The disk drives must be Kingston Data Express frame carriers to be compatible with existing drives, 5.) The chassis must be 19" rack mountable, 6.) The user must be able to set the SCSI ID of any device from outside the unit. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
