This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. RFQ00C-7 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase the following office supplies: STUDER A807 2/2 VUK Tape Deck, Three play speeds: 3-3/4, 7-1/2 & 15 ips (4 each); STUDER A807 VUK HS Tape Deck, Three play speeds: 7-1/2, 15, 30 ips (1 each); STUDER A807 VU PBO 1/4 inch (2 each); 1.727.071.00 Rack Kit for VU PBO (1 each); 1.727.069.00 Wooden side kit for VU PBO (1 each); Specifications refer to all items: 1/4 inch tape deck, playback only model; Library wind capability; microprocessor controlled tape transport; tape timer indicates hours/minutes/seconds at all tape speeds; accepts 7 and 10-1/2 inch reels, both NAB and standard; variable speed control; wow and flutter bi greater than +/-.007% @ 7-1/2 ips, peack value weighted DIN 45507; 2 separate direct drive spooling motors; multiple tape position locator keys; comes with STUDER console with overbridge.
