Synopsis: The Iowa National Guard wishes to select an Architect-Engineer firm for Type A, B and C services for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Multiple Disciplinary contract for projects at the Iowa Air National Guard Base located at the Des Moines International Airport and other DOD activities within the state. Typical projects include, but are not limited to: Facility renovations, HVAC Systems, lighting and electrical upgrades, reroofing, and pavement, landscaping, etc... Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, specifications, fact finding studies, material submittals, surveys, tests, investigations and economic analysis as required to execute projects. Submittal of electronic plans in AutoCadR14 is also required. The following are the significant A/E selection factors and their relative order of importance to the Government: Professional Qualifications, Specialized Experience and Technical Competence, Capacity to accomplish work in required time, Past Performance, Location, and Volume of work awarded by DOD. The estimated start and completion dates for the A/E contract are 8 June 2000 to 7 June 2001, with four (4) one year option periods. This request has a minimum amount of $5,000.00 and a ceiling of $1,250,000.00 per year with a maximum individual order limit of $250,000.00. The resulting award will be an optional uses Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract for the National Guard contracting office and other DOD activities in the state. A/E firms shall be ineligible to compete for the A/E design contracts for which they have developed the project book and/or statement of work. This is not a request for proposal.
