(805) 989-1992 The Naval Aviation Systems TEAM has a requirement for
Technical/Management Logistics Support Services in support of the
AIR-3.3 Technical Data Management Department and AIR-3.0J Joint
Logistics Products and Processes. This includes providing operations,
management, analysis, and technical support services, applying
logistics and information technology, converting and distributing
technical data, and operating/maintaining manual and automated
technical libraries, repositories, and data control centers throughout
continental United States (CONUS)and select outside continental United
States (OCONUS)locations. A Draft Statement of Work is available on the

of Work documents on this web-site are to be considered draft only,
and are not part of the Request for Proposal (RFP). In the event of
conflicting information posted on this web-site, the information
contained in this synopsis and any resulting solicitation will take
precedence. Offerors will be required to provide off-base office spaces
within 15 miles of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent
River, MD site, and the Naval Aviation Technical Engineering Center
(NATEC), San Diego, CA site where the majority of the work will be
performed. Additional services MAY be required at the following

additional sites or locations as may be required in support of work
efforts described in the Statement of Work. Services are required for
a base three-year period plus option periods (Option period 1 is 3
years, Option period 2 is 2 years, and Option period 3 is 2 years, for
a total of 10 years) for the resulting contract, performance to
commence on or about May 2000. The resulting solicitation will also
include the option provisions in FAR 52.217-8. Estimated Work Years for
this requirement total 4,190 (419 per year average). Each Work Year
equals 2,080 hours. It is anticipated that solicitation number
N68936-00-R-0008 will result in a single hybrid cost plus award
fee/firm fixed price contract to a certified 8(a) company. The
Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to
the responsible 8(a) offeror whose offer, conforming to the
solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or
price and other factors specified elsewhere in the solicitation,
considered. This solicitation is being issued as a competitive 8(a)
set-aside. This requirement is being classified under SIC Code 8711
($20.0M). The awarded contract will have a base period minimum
guarantee of $400,000.00. Responsible sources may request a copy of the

accepted. A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately 15 days
after release of the RFP. The location and details regarding the

responses without these return addresses will not be accepted. The
solicitation will be made available on the internet in Word 6.0 format
and will reside on the NAVAIR Solicitation Home Page at:

have requested a copy of the RFP will be notified via e-mail when it is
