aircraft maintenance hangar containing shops on the first floor along
the back of the hangar bay with approximately 11,500 SF of squadron
offices located above on the second floor. This project involves
architectural, electrical, and mechanical renovation. Architectural and
electrical renovation are limited primarily to replacing existing metal
walls and running new electric and data/telephone on the second floor.
Some flooring and ceiling repair will be required where walls are
replaced. Additional electrical design includes running power for new
mechanical equipment. Mechanical renovation includes replacing two HVAC
multi-zone systems located in two separate mechanical rooms which serve
both the first and second floors, replacing a small heat pump system
serving a shop area, replacing four steam unit heaters located in the
hangar bay, replacing two steam unit heaters located off the hangar
bay, and replacing approximately seven roof exhaust fans. All controls
for the new multi-zone units shall be DDC. Modification to existing
duct work and piping is required. Estimated Cost Range: Between
$500,000 and $1,000,000. There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge per
