The Naval surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following item on a Limited Source Basis from the manufacturer or its authorized resellers of SeaGate disk drives: Item 0001 -- 340 ea. of P/N ST32151N SeaGate 2.1 GB narrow SCSI disk drive. All quantities shall be new/unused and include the manufacturer's repair/ replacement warranty for a minimum of one year. At the time of shipment, the vendor shall provide serial numbers of the drives to be shipped. SeaGate Technologies is the only known manufacturer of the required item. These drives are required for compatibility with the existing AEGIS Baseline 6P1 Q-70 computer program. This item will be acquired on a limited source basis utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 19 January 2000. Anticipated award date is 20 January 2000. All items are to be priced FOB DESTINATION DAHLGREN, VA. Delivery shall be one week after receipt of order. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE.
