The United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command-Warren (TACOM-Warren) will be issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of 65,000 Level of Effort hours (25,000 basic effort and 40,000 hours of optional effort) which will be utilized for engineering support data, test planning, engineering support for system development, including field tests, maintenance and engineering prototype evaluations in support of the Vetronics Technology Testbed. This effort will be acquired as a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) modification to Contract DAAE07-95-C-X088 with DCS Corporation, Alexandria Virginia. The period of performance for this effort shall be twelve (12) months. This action will be solicited by letter. Issuance of a formal solicitation is not anticipated. The terms and conditions of the current contract will apply. All solicitations issued on or after 1 Apr 1999 will require offerors to submit offers paperlessly: only electronic format will be accepted. Contractors will be required to submit their response in one of the following electronic mediums: via 100 megabyte Zip*-disk, e-mail, 3 1/2 inch disk, or 650 magabyte CD ROM.
