OPPORTUNITY FAIR On February 8-9, 2000, the White House Community
Empowerment Board, along with the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, the Greater
Washington Board of Trade, Greater Washington Ibero American Chamber of
Commerce, and Federal, Sate, and Local Governments will sponsor it
Contracting and Procurement Opportunity Fair. The focus of this event
will be on providing access to entreprenuerial development, E-Commerce,
and federal procurement opportunities for small, minority-owned,
disadvantaged, 8(a)-certified, HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program
participants and and women-owned firms that benefit Empowerment Zone,
Enterprise Communities and Champion Communities, as well as
under-served communities that fall within the umbrella of the Community
Empowerment Agenda. This conference will feature the tools, programs,
and strategies of the Administration's Community Empowerment Agenda
that will help open doors to the new economy. For more information
