The Commander requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to perform all operations of the bulk and sterilized waste collection and disposal functions, which includes collection, incineration, and disposal of bulk and sterilized waste resulting from hospital activities located at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. A site visit will be held approximately 10 days after issuance of solicitation. The work identified to be provided by means of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The contract term is for a base period of one (1) year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for four additional periods of 12 months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 4953.
