NASA/LaRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a large (1 each) bed fixed table heavy-duty five axis bridge style cnc router with spindle motor to route, shape, bore and cut three dimensional parts from a variety of orientations and materials. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3545 and 500 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 1-057-rfw.1000 is on or about January 19, 2000 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about February 03,2000. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
