The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington DC (FISCNORVADETWASH) has a requirement in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment, Plant Equipment Support Office, Annapolis, MD, for a quantity of two (2) 5000 Gallon / 1000 psi Tanks (or Pressure Vessels). Both will be carbon steel ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VII compliant. Both vessels will be identical except for left-hand and right-hand penetrations. Federal Supply Classification (FSC) is 5430, Storage Tanks. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3443, Fabricated Plate Work (Boiler Shops). This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business (size standard is 500 employees). Proof of registration in the Central Contractor Registry ("CCR") is required. To be considered, interested offerors shall provide the contracting specialist: technical literature, evidence of their capability to provide the equipment, meet the solicitation's terms and conditions, and provide a price quote for their pressure vessels. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Quotes will be evaluated based upon low price / technically acceptable, and past performance (references) on similar projects. Equipment shall be new and unused and shall be one of the manufacturer's current commercial models which is currently being offered for sale through advertisements or published catalogs.
