The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to procure pager service for 52 pagers. Service date 02/00 -- 10/00. Pagers and service must meet the following requirements: 1. Need coverage within the entire region as well as the capacity for nationwide service. Need coverage in all six states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. 2. Pagers must be capable of receiving both alpha and numeric pages. 3. Need to have a way to retrieve alpha and numeric pages. 4. Toll-Free Corporate number for sending alpha pages by telephone and a dispatch service. 5. Pagers needs toll-free number for sending numeric pages and a security code for retrieving numeric and alpha pages. 6. Wireless message software to use in the office for sending alpha messages to pagers. 7. The pager company needs a reliable service staff with a toll-free number to call into for answering questions about service and for switching out pagers as needed. 8.
