Furnish all plant, labor, parts, engineering support, and ancillary
items required to replace one existing Federal Pacific Electric
FPE)main breaker Model FPS-75 and three FPE feeder breakers Model
FPS-50, Building 6901, Fort Rucker, AL. The new breakers shall be
"retro-fill" breakers of similar current curves and capacities as the
existing breakers utilizing new General Electric AKR, Square D
MasterPac, or similar and equal commercially available electronic
breakers. Limit of Government involvement is providing an electrical
outage to the affected service rated switchgear and providing
incidental labor support to remove the existing breakers and install
the new breakers. Final installed product shall be fully installed and
functionally tested breakers with appropriate modified or new doors to
fill all gaps created by the "retro-fill" breaker installations. The
existing FPS-75 breaker has a 3000 amp frame rated 3000 amps
continuous, 75,000 AIC at 480/277 volts three phase, with Type SS6
overcurrent relay with ground fault protection. Existing FPS-50
breakers have 1600 amp frames rated 800 amps continuous, 50,000 AIC at
480/277 volts three phase, with Type SS3 overcurrent relays. The
"retro-fill" breaker installation shall be accomplished during a single
electrical outage that may require work by the Contractor on weekends
or holidays. This is a commercial items procurement, and is
