This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Proposals; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number USSS000011 is issued as a Request for Proposal through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. COMPETITION IS LIMITED TO ELIGIBLE 8(A) FIRMS as per Federal Acquisition Regulation ("FAR") 6.204, under the authority of Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended by Pub.L. 100-656. The SIC code is 5045 and the small business size standard is 500. The United States Secret Service ("USSS") has a requirement for Dell computer equipment.
