This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for lodging. Solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is M00681-00-R-0004 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Standard Industrial Code is 7011 the dollar amount is not to exceed $5M. The agency need is for firm fixed prices. This requirement consists of (4) double occupancy rooms with 2 beds and (14) single occupancy rooms with 1 bed for a total of (18) rooms per night for approximately 75 days. Hotel accommodations must be within the city of Palm Springs. Hotel facilitities must be acceptable with normal commercial business practice. Start date of lodging is normal check in time January 20, 2000. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Aug 1998) applies to this acquisition.
