MS-3401 MAINTENANCE, P/N 02129, 2 EA. 5). VME, MULTI-USER PERPETUAL ANNUAL UPDATES, P/N 02599-00, 1 EA. 6). VME, MULTI-USER PERPETUAL ANNUAL SITE SERVICE, P/N 02598-SS, 1 EA. Period of performance is from 3/23/00 through 3/22/2001. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Synopsys Inc., 3452 Lake Lynda Drive, Orlando FL. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on January 26, 2000. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
