The Towed Array Test Set must utilize U.S. Navy Standard towed array telemetry electronics. Chesapeake Sciences Corporation is the only known vendor who can develop the electronic components for the towed array environment for use in conjunction with the Navy standard telemetry format. Chesapeake Sciences Corp. also has the proprietary software needed. Chesapeake Sciences Corporation is the only known vendor with the required capability to fabricate, test and deliver the required test set in time to meet delivery requirements.
