The U.S. Army, Installation Business Office-Contracting at Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement to provide Grounds Maintenance Services for the following areas: Heritage Village Family Housing Area Near Raeford, NC and for the following sites at Fort Bragg, NC: Family Housing Areas, Medical Treatment Facilities, Schools, ROTC Facilities, the United States Special Operations Command (USASOC) Facilities and Postwide areas for the period 1 April 2000 thru 31 March 2001 (plus 3 one-year option periods). This is a requirements type contract. Contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and any other items and services necessary to provide grounds maintenance services to include but not limited to: mowing, policing incidental to mowing, edging, trimming, raking; shrub, tree and ground cover maintenance; weed control; seeding, sodding, aeration and fertilization; storm debris cleanup; bush hogging; erosion control; and maintenance of playground equipment. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis/full and open competition. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this requirement is 0782 with a threshold of $5.0 million. Due to automation of the Solicitation Mailing List (SML), certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore required that all requests for the solicitation be in writing (requests may be made via email: lockea@bragg.army.mil or by facsimile: 910-396-5603) and shall include the vendor's business size, phone and facsimile numbers, street and email addresses, and DUNS and CAGE Numbers and indicate if they are actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). No telephone requests will be honored. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the internet at: www.ccr2000.com to register).
