This work consists of blasting and painting tainter gates and trunnions, furnishing and installing new side seal assemblies and new anodes, replacing damaged and corroded structural members, grinding structural members, heating and straightening structural members, power tool, and completely paint machinery covers, machinery platforms, and spillway bridge. Machinery covers, machinery platforms, and spillway bridge will require lead-based paint removal. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. If a subcontracting plan is required, the following minimum subcontracting goals for the Little Rock District will be applicable: 61.4% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount be placed with Small Businesses (including small disadvantaged and woman-owned businesses); 9.1% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with small disadvantaged businesses, 5% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with woman-owned businesses, 2% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with historically black colleges or universities/minority institutions, and %0.5 of the total subcontracted amount be placed with Hub Zone businesses.
