Work consists of providing all plant, labor, equipment and material, and performing all work in connection with the project to construct a new F15 static display support system and develop the site in accordance with the statement of work, at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. The work involved includes, but is not limited to, the following: the contractor shall strip site, excavate as required, construct the concrete foundation, and backfill/compact as required. Contractor shall construct the brick planter and sidewalks as shown on the drawings. Contractor shall fill inside planter and prepare for landscaping and install the steel column as shown (minimum of 28 days after concrete installation). Contractor shall field verify all measurements and seed and mulch all areas disturbed. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) construction contract. The performance period is 55 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantaged concerns. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Jan 2000 on the Government_s Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available.
